Jacaranda Place Adolescent Extended Treatment Facility

The design reflects an intensive collaboration with stakeholders from the health service and community

ARCH was commissioned to design Jacaranda Place, an adolescent extended treatment facility (Mental Health) for the Queensland Children's Hospital.

The purpose-built treatment and rehabilitation centre is specifically designed for the needs of young people living with mental health issues.

The design reflects an intensive collaboration with stakeholders from the health service and community. As lead consultant, ARCH worked closely with the internal architects (MAAP), builder (ADCO) and project managers (Destravis) to deliver a unique facility that will ensure young people with mental illness receive the best possible care when they need it most.

ARCH are proud to have worked with Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service on such an important project that will directly improve health outcomes for Queensland's youth for years to come.
