ARCH was engaged to provide architectural and interior design services for the NSW Rural Fire Services Headquarters based in Sydney Olympic Park. The Headquarters included the 9,200sqm integrated workplace fitout, with an intra-tenancy stair connecting the three floors, and a large void created to house the new and fully functional State Operations Centre.

The Headquarters required an integrated fitout with dedicated infrastructure, operational, communications and ICT systems. The ICT operational specific fitout required specialist fitout for the Critical Operations Areas comprising of the State Operations Centre (SOC), Operational Communication Centre (OCC), Bushfire Information Line (BIFL), State Air Desk (SAD), External Agencies, RFS Senior Management Offices and associated support facilities required for the Operations Area.This project also required the physical and operational relocation of the Headquarters from the existing premises into the new facility.
