Michael is a registered architect and recognised national industry leader. He holds elected positions at both state and national levels with the Australian Institute of Architects and the Association of Consulting Architects. Michael also serves on the South Australia State Design Review panel since 2013 and has been an assessor for the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT) since 2019.

Evident throughout his career and current project engagements is Michael's passion and steadfast enthusiasm for bringing communities together – building meaningful places that resonate and reflect the personality of each project's place, people and purpose.

Over his 30+ years of experience, Michael has led architecture practices in the UK, Ireland, Asia and Australia. His portfolio of notable award winning projects includes acute hospitals, state significant sports facilities, schools, civic centres and major hotels.

Michael is the nominated architect for the Victoria ARBV 800759, South Australia APBSA 3432 and Northern Territory NTAB AR1191 studio locations.
