North Cheltenham Preschool

Simple, compact and efficient plan with shared amenities between the activity rooms.

ARCH was appointed by the City of Kingston to develop a plan to double the capacity of the existing North Cheltenham Pre-school which sits on a site of 3,858sqm.

ARCH provided a concept to use the site for a new kindergarten, and replace the existing 30-place kindergarten to provide capacity for up to 66 pre-school children.

The design is a simple and compact / efficient plan with shared amenities between the activity rooms.

We have natural tone on the façade that marries with the existing eucalyptus trees. Large sliding doors provide seamless inside and outside connections. The gentle pastel colours continues into the interior design with fun curve motive designed at children's eye level. A splash of colour on the flooring provides and intimate space for smaller group activities.

Professional photos will be available shortly.
