David Stoneley

Principal Architect | Design Director

David has over 10 years experience in the role of national health leader and brings extensive experience as a Project Leader and in Clinical Health Planning. With a detailed working knowledge of the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines, David has designed and delivered multiple hospital projects.

Known for his expertise in community consultation and user group workshops, David designs facilities that meet the community and user needs. He communicates effectively with stakeholders, ensuring that projects are well-informed and built with a greater understanding of key considerations.

David delivered the preliminary and detailed business cases for the Cooktown Hospital Redevelopment, bringing health services to an area where the population is dispersed and has some of the poorest health outcomes in Queensland. Site restraints, remote location, staging to meet service demand were key considerations to deliver a facility that was right for the community and for the location.

David is involved in all project phases and works to identify opportunities for improved development and services delivery strategies ensuring successful project delivery with improved health outcomes for the community.

His extensive experience and expertise make David a highly respected professional in his field where his innovative approach and exceptional leadership skills continue to positively impact the healthcare industry.
